The hub of the home
A recently completed Classic Roundhouse bespoke kitchen for a couple in Hampshire has become the hub of their home. The couple had opened up three rooms to realise one large family space, creating room for cooking, dining and socialising around the large kitchen island. As they like to entertain it was crucial to maximise the space between the island and table – they’ve easily accommodated well over 20 people in the space!
The couple had very specific requirements when it came to the layout, which is where bespoke kitchen furniture comes into its own – each cabinet had a defined purpose, not just for the obvious things like appliances but also for cook books, trays, with some open shelving for precious collections.
A fresh and light colour scheme was the order of the day with marble effect natural Silestone Lyra work surfaces, all combining to provide a neutral backdrop for personal accessories. The clients were delighted with their new kitchen/family space and we agree that their new bespoke kitchen looks just fabulous.
The kitchen was designed by Roundhouse designer Paul Welburn who is based on our Guildford showroom, 5 Trinity Gate, Epsom Road, Guildford GU1 3JQ 01483 573584.
